경기도 부천 내동에 위치한 이 프로젝트는 부천의 역사적, 산업적 배경을 바탕으로 공간을 구성한 인테리어 프로젝트이다.
‘공업 도시’ 부천은 오래전부터 다양한 공장이 밀집되어 온 지역으로, 이러한 부천 지역의 특성을 그대로 반영하고자 부천 지역 공장들이 생산하는 목재와 스테인리스 스틸 등 자재를 활용하여 공간을 구현하였다.
이 프로젝트의 핵심 컨셉은 “실, String”이다.
부천의 의류 공장에서 영감을 받아 스테인리스 와이어 로프와 전깃줄 등의 자재를 활용하여 시각적으로 표현하였다. 이는 공간의 산업적 감성을 더해줄 뿐만 아니라, 공간에 스토리를 부여하여 더욱 깊은 의미를 전달한다.

Located in Naedong, Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do, is an interior design project that shapes a space based on Bucheon’s historical and industrial background.
As an “industrial city,” Bucheon has long been home to a dense concentration of factories. To reflect this characteristic, the space was created using locally manufactured materials such as wood and stainless steel from Bucheon’s factories.
The core concept of this project is “Thread, String.” Inspired by Bucheon’s textile factories, stainless steel wire ropes and electric cables were incorporated as visual elements. These materials not only enhance the industrial aesthetic of the space but also add a narrative layer, giving the design a deeper meaning.
